Adam Chau is an artist in Cold Spring, NY. A graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, his research looks into the combination of digital manufacturing and traditional ceramic techniques. His research has been published in Studio Potter, Ceramics Monthly, Ceramics Art and Perception, and Ceramics Technical. In 2018 he was given the NCECA Emerging Artist Award and in 2019 became a member of the International Academy of Ceramics. In 2017 he curated REINVENTED, an exhibition highlighting international artists that use digital technology; it travelled to 5 locations in two years. Solo exhibitions include Harvard Ceramics, The Clay Studio, and Manchester Craftsmans Guild. He is currently a board member of Artaxis and The Color Network.
